Billabong Catch Of The Day Boardshort I’ve seen a lot in the world of boardshorts. I saw the frenzy over the first technical boardshorts. I saw the consumer shock with the return of the short trunk. However – in all my years of selling boardshorts – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a style that garner so much public interest as this clever all-over print. It stokes me that in a world where so many people have decided to be very intense about surfing – Billabong reminds us that is all about having a good time with Catch of the Day. Seriously – are you going to call some dude to the beach when you are sitting on the peak in a pair of goldfish printed 21 in. boardshorts? Of course not – instead you are going to do some go behinds and throw a big shaka. Does it appear that these goldfish are smiling? It’s because they know you kept a bunch of plastic bottles out of the ocean by buying a pair of these recycled supreme suede boardshorts. Catch of the Day has a mesh-lined back pocket – contrast pocket flap – contrast waistband – button on the flap – and a couple of fun embroidered logos. It is all about having fun after all.
